Alzheimers
The Alzheimers society is the leading care and research charity for people with all forms of dementia, their families and carers. Founded in 1979 as the Alzheimer's Disease Society.
The Alzheimer's Society provides:

- Support groups for carers
- A care attendent scheme

NCHT- Nightingale Community Hospice Trust
The Nightingale Community Hospice Trust was launched to meet the needs of the many Enfield borough residents who are either directly or indirectly affected by cancer.
The Charity Offers the following services:
- Home Sitting/Befriending services
- Transport service
- Advice and Helpline Service
- Drop-in service
- Workshops
- Carers Support
- Night sitting
- Complimentary therapies
- Counseling

Our long-term aim is to provide a hospice at home service to help people remain at home as long as they wish and then a traditional residential hospice service.
